Right to Life Human Rights Center’s Executive Director Philip Dissanayake handed over the recent report on Volunteer Social Service Organizations (Registration and Supervision) Act to
1. Minister of Public Security Ho. Tiran Alles and
2. Director General of the Non-Governmental Organization Secretariat Mr. Sanjeewa Wimalagunarathna
The Minister advised the Director General to include the positive suggestions we have presented. He also instructed the Director General of the NGO secretariat to discuss with the NGOs again about the draft. Right to Life Human Rights Center officially requested the draft bill from the NGO Secretariat.
