The Galle district Human Rights First Aid Centre organized a meeting for district community leaders on human rights and reconciliation mechanism in Sri Lanka. The event was attended by more than 40 people from the Galle District, including public sector employees and private sector officials. Mrs. Kanchani Kodituwakku, Coordinator of the Human Rights First Aid Center, Galle, Officials from Right to Life Human Rights Centers and the National Peace Council participated in this event. In here they discussed about the Independent Commissions such as Human Rights Commission, National Police Commission, Office of Missing Persons and Right to Information Act. which using as reconciliation mechanisms.
