In the past year, Right to Life Human Rights Centre has taken the torture topic in to the discussion with different wider social level of people. The target people were academics and experts representing various professions. We were able to share this discussion which we had with these experts and academics via social media to aware the general public.
As a highlight of this activity we have prepared a book which is included with the ideas of professionals and experts regarding the torture. Parallel to this, some of those professionals Dr. Visakesa Chandrasekaram, Mr. K.W. Janaranjana – AAL, Mr. Kamal Addaraarachchi, Mr. Joseph Starlin and Mrs. Sandya Eknaligoda were there to address the gathering.
It was held at Olympic House Auditorium on 3rd of March 2020 with the participation of 120 people.
